Basketball Enthusiasts Flock to BIG3 Games in its Resonating Sixth Season

The league’s games broadcasted on CBS this season have witnessed a noticeable surge in viewership compared to the previous season. Viewership continues on an upward trajectory, reinforcing the increasing popularity of the league.

The recent Week 4 event in Memphis was particularly successful. The games, aired from 3:00pm to 6:30pm ET, drew a 0.31 rating and averaged 600,000 viewers during the 3.5-hour broadcast window. This represents a 46% enhancement from the 412,000 viewers and 0.26 rating during the same timeslot last year. Despite contending with popular broadcasts like the NBA summer league on ESPN (309,000 viewers), MLB on FS1 (369,000), and NASCAR on USA (609,000), the league nearly matched the Wimbledon Women’s finals viewership on ABC (762,000).

In addition, Monster Energy athletes, cheerleaders, dunkers, dancers, and others have taken part in the event.

Prominent 3-on-3 players such as Joe Johnson, Leandro Barbosa, and Michael Beasley, guided by esteemed coaches like Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Rick Barry, Lisa Leslie, Nancy Lieberman, Gary Payton, and others, compete in the league.
