At the heart of Los Angeles, Netflix is concocting an elevated dining experience: NETFLIX BITES. Set to unveil on June 30, this pop-up restaurant is an extension of the scintillating narratives we’ve relished on our screens.
Curtis Stone, whose laurels include the accolade of Michelin Star, will be leading the culinary charge. He’s not alone in this endeavor. Dominique Crenn, Rodney Scott, Ming Tsai, Ann Kim, Nadiya Hussain, Jacques Torres, and Andrew Zimmern are donning their chef’s whites to join him. “Bringing my love of food to people across the world is one of the biggest thrills of my life,” asserts Stone, encapsulating the ethos that is driving these culinary powerhouses.
To complement the feast, mixologists from Netflix’s Drink Masters – Frankie Solarik, Julie Reiner, LP O’Brien, and Kate Gerwin – will be stirring up bespoke cocktails.
At NETFLIX BITES, they’re serving up much more than just food; they’re offering a taste of the culinary journeys that have become synonymous with Netflix. The limited-time menu crafted by these stalwarts will encompass a spectrum of flavors and cuisines, each dish a manifestation of the individual chef’s expertise.
Located at 115 S. Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, within the stylish confines of the Short Stories Hotel, NETFLIX BITES is set to open its doors on June 30. The restaurant will serve dinner seven days a week from 5-10 pm and will also offer a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Netflix has been a vanguard in entertainment. Its venture into the culinary space is an organic extension of its brand. Josh Simon, VP, Consumer Products, explains, “Netflix is already a destination for beloved food programming… with NETFLIX BITES we are creating an in-person experience where fans can immerse themselves in their favorite food shows.”
