Netflix’s “DROP 01”: A Sneak Peek into Their Animated Series

Castlevania: Nocturne Exclusive Pre-Release and More

In a recent digital event, Netflix introduced its “DROP 01”, showcasing the pre-release of the series, “Castlevania: Nocturne” and providing information about some of its upcoming animated series.

For those unable to attend, Netflix released the initial seven minutes of the first episode of “Castlevania: Nocturne”, which will be available in its entirety on September 28th.

One such project is Blue Eye Samurai. Set in Edo-period Japan, this animated series, blended with live-action elements, revolves around the character Mizu. Voiced by Maya Erskine, Mizu is depicted as a biracial sword master who is on a quest for revenge.

Another highlight was the preliminary glimpse of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. This series, produced in collaboration with Legendary Television, Crystal Dynamics, and Powerhouse Animation, provided a brief preview of the character, Lara Croft.

This event showcased Netflix’s continued investment in the animated genre, giving viewers insight into what’s next for the platform in terms of animated content. With “DROP 01”, it seems Netflix aims to offer a diverse array of animated series to its subscribers. Additionally, the platform provided updates on other forthcoming animation projects like Devil May Cry, PLUTO and Captain LaserHawk.
