PUMA’s Scoot Zeros: A Basketball Shoe with a Story
Global sports brand PUMA has unveiled the first signature basketball shoe of NBA rookie Scoot Henderson, named the Scoot Zeros. The inaugural edition, termed the Scoot Zeros Georgia Peach, is a tribute to Henderson’s home state of Georgia, where he started his basketball career.
The Scoot Zeros Georgia Peach narrates Henderson’s rapid rise in the basketball world. From his beginnings in Marietta, Georgia, to becoming the youngest player in the G League and a top prospect in the 2023 NBA draft, the shoe reflects the milestones and challenges of his journey. “I’m excited to finally share the Scoot Zeros Georgia Peach with the world,” said Henderson. “Zeros symbolizes new beginnings… and I hope it inspires players to strive for greatness on and off the court.”
The design of the Scoot Zeros represents Henderson’s story and his connection with fans. It’s not just a basketball shoe; it’s a symbol of his path to success, aiming to inspire others to pursue their aspirations. Drawing from Henderson’s mantra, “O.D.D: Overly Determined to Dominate,” the shoe incorporates PUMA Hoops technology. Priced at $100, the Scoot Zeros Georgia Peach will be available from December 15th on PUMA.com, the PUMA mobile app, the PUMA NYC Flagship store, and select retailers including Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports.
