Horror Redefined: Paramount+ Announces ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’ Premiere Date

Paramount+, the popular streaming platform, recently revealed the title and premiere date for its upcoming horror film, “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines”. This film marks an untold chapter from the globally renowned novel, “Pet Sematary”, by Stephen King, and is expected to stir fear among audiences with its chilling narrative. The premiere is scheduled for October 6, primarily available in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Brazil, with other international markets gaining access a day later.

“Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” forms part of the Paramount+’s Peak Screaming collection – a curated selection of acclaimed horror films and memorable Halloween-themed episodes from various series.

The film boasts a star-studded ensemble that includes Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Isabella Star LaBlanc. Veteran actors Pam Grier and David Duchovny also grace the cast.

Set in 1969, the story pivots around Jud Crandall, a young man eager to break free from his hometown of Ludlow, Maine. As he stumbles upon long-buried secrets, he’s thrown into a vortex of his family’s dark past that ties him irrevocably to Ludlow. Crandall and his childhood friends find themselves grappling with an ancient evil that has plagued Ludlow since its inception. This malignant force, once exposed, threatens to obliterate everything in its path.

“Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” is Lindsey Anderson Beer’s directorial debut. Beer also contributes to the script alongside Jeff Buhler, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian handling the production. Paramount Pictures’ Players Label and Di Bonaventura Pictures have partnered for the film’s production.
