The Luka 2 integrates groundbreaking Jordan-exclusive features, namely the full-length Formula 23 and the IsoPlate. Married with an innovative medial Cushlon 3.0 wedge foam, they collectively anchor the foot during agile maneuvers.
To delve deeper, the midsole amalgamates four elements. At the base lies the Formula 23 foam, cradled by a dense foam carrier. Adjacent to this, a pliable foam wedge on the medial side facilitates a minor depression for the foot, optimizing the angle for assertive court propulsion. The crowning component is the re-engineered IsoPlate, which fortifies the lateral sidewall against the carrier foam to sustain equilibrium during sideways motion.
In a tribute to Dončić’s roots in Slovenia and as a retrospective reflection on his odyssey, each season will witness the release of a Luka 2 edition composed of at least 20% recycled material by weight, with inspirations drawn from his homeland.
The Luka 2, in its inaugural Luk.AI colorway, takes center stage on July 5 for an exclusive circle of Nike Members across the globe, before embracing a broader audience on July 11 via Jordan.com and select retail channels.
